I love this book to death. Tsoknyi Rinpoche with Eric Swanson's writing style instills the thoughts directly to my mind when I am reading it.
I recommend this book to anyone who wants to take the next step with their meditation practice. Tsoknyi Rinpoche has such a human and accessible style of explanation.
Unlike his earlier, more advanced books ([[ASIN:9627341320 Carefree Dignity: Discourses on Training in the Nature of Mind]] & [[ASIN:9627341487 Fearless Simplicity: The Dzogchen Way of Living Freely in a Complex World]]), Tsokni Rinpoche (the son of Tulku Urgyen and brother of Chokyi Nyima) covers many basic Vajrayana precepts such as the paramitas (perfections), bodhicitta, tonglen, etc. but in a very down to earth & easy to understand way using a great many personal anecdotes about his own training and experiences as a teacher.
